Ruby Valley Trek is a recently promoted trek and and famous as a hidden valley trek in Ganesh Himal Region. The Ganesh Himal region lies north of Kathmandu and it offers an authentic experience of Tamang and Gurung village life, as well as stunning views from its highest point – the Pansang pass. Along the trail, the trek offers splendid close views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalayas.

The trek starts at Syabrubensi and ends at Bhangkharka Village in the district of Dhading. This trek is especially recommended for those who seek for off-the-beaten-track trails that have not been visited by many people. For that reason, this trek is also perfect for cultural exploration.

Ruby Valley trek is a fully supported home stay trek, as there are no guesthouses on the way. Trekking is always with concept of doing adventures type, doing summit of passes and mountains and trails. This will give the trekkers a wonderful opportunity to not only get an amazing close glimpse of Himalayas but also get a step closer to the local population and learn about their culture and tradition.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu (1460m)
Day 3: Trek to Gatlang (2238m)
Day 4: Gatlang to Somdang (3271m)
Day 5: Acclimatization
Day 6: Trek to Tippling via Pansang La Pass (3842m)
Day 7: Trek to Shertung (1875m)
Day 8: Hot springs and trek back to Chalish Gaon (1674m)
Day 9: Trek to Jharlang
Day 10: Jharlang to Darkha Gaon (850m)
Day 11: Trek to Darkha phedi and drive back to Kathmandu from Dhading besi.
Day 12: Departure to your onward destination.
